The bigger problem is compression IMO. Very low bitrate I think. edit - actually, the bitrate seems better when you actually view it in native res..my winamp opened it at about 3x the size it should have been :/ Now it's problem is that it's a low res video :p

yes where is that HD video, i know is hidden somewhere in the fortress of the internet, any indianna jone here willing to take on the task of discovering this treasure.
 
dude that link is not that high quality as the sample mpg2 one, i download the sample and check the bitrate and is around 8000Kb per second
 
Yep, the one on Konami's website and on rulizweb is low res as well, besides, there are quiet a few heads obstructing the view, so it can get quite annoying... GOD DAMN IT, the game looks so fuckin awesome even in low res, where the hell is the HIGH-RES video so we could flyspeck every nook and cranny in that ps3-rivals-kill-zone2-visuals masterpiece!
 
So people I downloaded MGS4 trailer (TGS) from Gametrailers.com, but it is only 3min long and I read that there is another long trailer somewhere, any links will be appreciated.
 
Thanks Manu, and Marco also for that wonderful video, ~ 177 MB (phew). Somehow it was jerky in WMP and PowerDVD but ran smoothly in Nero Showtime.

I have downloaded most of PS3 games vidoes from gametrailers and other locations. I was most impressed by (no not KZ!) Motor Storm. Apart from MGS4 and KZ, I really liked Killing Day, RE5 (jombie ran too similar to "27 days later"), HS, Wardevil, Warhawk etc. I also downloaded GoW, looks like a winner to me.

But I am really exicited by I8 (?) by Insomianc, the atmosphere was just amazing.

To me insomniac's game looked like crap.I mean.....it had terrible slowdown, last gen animation, and I didnt see anything remarkable about the graphics :???:

I mean.....HL2, Far Cry and Doom3 impressed me more than that

Your probably refering to the early build shown at E3, which had slowdown and low res footage. About 1-2 months after E3 the released another version, higher res and no slowdown but contained the same scenes. Gametrailers don't have this trailer up, but i know IGN and Gamespot changed their trailers a few months back.

Check it out, the game looks great.

Yeah, found out about a while back over at PSiNext, there's a screen comparison posted too.

The only places i know of that have it are Gamespot and IGN, you can stream the Gamespot one below, but you really need to see the high res version not these crapy streams <_<

MGS4 trailer included with MGS3

According to Hideo's blog (Friday Oct 21), Disc 3 may contain the trailer for MGS4.

Here's an excerpt of the babelfished site:

It's the untranslated site, look down to the MGS3 magazine spread.

I'm not 100% sure about it though cause the translation is VERY rough. But the keywords seem to suggest it. Can anyone translate the site better?
