This game rocks! No clue what the reviewers are smoking. Huge enemies, lots and lots of action. Just stuff going on all over the place. It's a great arcade style shooter. I'm damn happy with my purchase.

The bosses are way too hard :(

The moth took me like 30mins and I gave up on the big instect in Mission 5 :(

LP kicks some serious ass, having at least as much fun with it as I did with Gears and enjoying the challenge (it's quite hard on Medium, at least for me). Graphics are terrific, the VSs are just a blast, the boss fights are whoa-worthy, etc etc.

    Superlative stuff from Capcom.

Keep going for the big guns (rocket launchers, grenade launchers, etc...) and once one VS is destroyed just hope into another and continue the same way. Don't stay in one place and double jump alot. Took me a lot of tries to finally kill him aswell but stick with it and he'll eventually go down.

The game gets even better after that so don't give up.

I'm an idiot. I was f'in around with the settings before I even started the game and had my aim set to "fixed" which would end up moving the whole screen and centering the crosshair. Once I set it back to normal, it was much nicer but he was still a pain. I'm up against ole Green Eye now :)

I just find it amazing that there is sooo much stuff all going on at once. This game is quite intense!

If you though the fights before dr. Isenberg are tough, well ... you're wrong.

This fight is insanely difficult. The fact the after a hit you get stunned for a second. And while being stunned you can be hit by a beam or a missile. And that beam moving vertically is just so BITCH to dodge. AAARRGGgghgghhHGHHGhh.

Echoing the same thing as other developers. Good tools and ease of programming/working with MS. Hard to ignore this when dev after dev states the same thing.

This game is freakin' fantastic! The bosses are ... boss. The graphics and gameplay are completely top notch. I love this game. The art direction is great, the sound, the scale, the action.. this game has it all. It's at least a 9/10 game. Forget the reviews that say less, this game is a must purchase for any X360 owner IMO.

    I love this gamercard feature...

Finish more than Mission 02, then we'll talk about "boss"... ;)

I enjoyed it quite a bit as well. Very old school and frantic, and amazing looking as well as quite challenging.

    This game gets HARD.

Damn it to hell that Green Eye!

BTW, this game has shipped over 1m units already. This is the 13th 1m+ seller on the 360 already.

I must say..... WOW.... the more I play this game (Especially Multiplayer) the more impressed I am with the graphics.

the rolling fog... the particle effects (the most I've ever seen)... the destructible environments... the grappling/climbing/body physics.... the lighting and sunshine (WOW)...textures... the water (which is interactive).... the sounds... the explosions... the mayhem... the scale (huge)...

I declare these the best graphics on any (console ) game to date. More going on than any game I've yet seen. Prettier than Gears of War IMO.

this is full game BTW, the demo is NOT as good.

Looks like Capcom pulled off another hit. I don't have a X360 yet but this will be one of the first games I get when I do.

Agreed. Every level has something that makes you go... WOW. Most of the bosses are "colossi" size. The explosions are the best. And the mayhem with no slowdown makes you wonder just how far the x360 can go... that little white box is really something.

These comments make me wonder whether we're playing the same game. Are you honestly telling me that the game doesn't slowdown in boss fights and when being near big explosions?

I have never seen it myself. The closest I came was the second to last boss in teh game with tentacles.
