Good times back then, owning the most popular console which had a shitload of superb exclusive games like Metal Gear Solid 1 *giggles*

Amazing how quickly a mistranslation spread around the net and becomes accepted as fact. I'm used to it from all the Japanese hack jobs done by players in FFXIV whenever there's a livestream, but that doesn't get spread as much as this.

As noted, nothing in the article mentions exclusivity. Doesn't mean it won't end up being exclusive, but Kojima's current plans are for the game to launch on multiple platforms.

I am going to leave my prediction here... at this point in time...

Kojima will make multi platform games but will finance his new studio with a timed exclusivity with Sony.

If we are doing predictions mine is that his studio will be mostly Sony exclusive. Working with one platform is just easier than many. Not to mention Kojima strikes me as the type to want the best for his product, I can see him not wanting to compromise his game for a weaker system even if it wasn't a valid technical reason.

Well I'm off to a good start haha. I do agree the chances of seeing it as PS4 + PC is much better than seeing PS4, Xbox, PC for his products.

If Sony own the IP then it's probably Ps4 only, if that's not the case then i don't see any reason not to release it on PC(i am hoping that's the case). Glad to see him employed so fast though, Kojima is quality.
