KILLZONE Shadow Fall [PS4]

I like that 'wall hacking' must be used in dose as you get punished for using it to long.

Would have been a great way of implementing the 'listen' mode in TLoU.

It is funny, as the drone pretty much gives you the Crisis suit capabilities, or variations of it...I also like that the gameplay is designed in such a way that the duration of the drone batteries is short, but also the time for battery recovery is equally short...this let you constantly use these abilities throughout the whole game and does not give you the feeling of 'sparing the powers for super hard enemies only' situations...similar like Crisis.

Heard it's a harder game than previous KZs. So I decided to wait and see how well wall hack works. In general I dislike cheats. It's more fun to figure out the level by myself.

I guess the campaing will have better graphics than the MP. The 500MB 1080p/60 fps video from the MP dissapoint me a little bit.

I don't like any kindof wall hacks either. I would rather stumble upon an enemy than know he is hding behind the door. Last of Us was supremest game with Listen turned off.
If the wall hack is a permanent feature, then. I hope the game is difficult enough to justify its use. It does break the whole sense of place , though.hoping Kojima removes it from MGSV.

By the way, love those reflections in the new video. All those sparks getting reflected on multiple walls :D !!! Yesh ! Maybe its just my own preferences regarding colours and outdoors, but the jungle level, the way it looks now, is my most beautiful nextgen level  ! The mist, fog, the morning rays, the reddish tinge, morning colours, the forest, walking around in it feels like walking in a painting ( stolen , i know , but thats how it feels to me)

I will be replaying that one level many times, i knows :yep2: !!!

Ok, so for the unbelievers who called the city fakery, just watch the wireframe view of the cityscape. Actual polygon detail stretches way, way back into the distance. This city is not faked. It's actually fully rendered polygon buildings to a very large majority.

I guess it's time to take out the objectivity rulers again!

Kidding aside... that was truly stunning. A next-gen eureka moment if there was one before launch, really wow.

Looks great! But my FXAA detector is blinking :|

I suppose it does 'gel' things together in a filmic blur way for those who like that kind of thing.
