Wonder what u would have said if Sony had showcased SF as a PS3 title. You have already said you would believe them lol !

I would if it was running at 720P 30fps like was mentioned...;)

The only thing it shows are amazing lighting, POM, realtime reflections, nice OMB, bokeh DOF, high quality models and textures, insane amount of particles, smokes and explosions all at 1080/60. A country mile ahead of KZ3 MP at any given point.
 
Would you stop putting bullshots of KZ3 against screen-caps of KZ SF?

Even then KZ SF wins by a mile.

Don't trouble yourself.

Just th lighting in that day map is above and beyond what was possible on the ps3. Look at the lighting on the gun model, on the environment. Look at the texture res of the character models. Look at the number polygons in environment. Then look at the bokeh DOF, the particles, the wind system affecting all particles(yes KZ2 had it too for some particles and I played with it a lot in the mech level), look at the damn HDR whihc every KZ game lacked till now, then look at the smoke from all explosions, then look at the damn reflections we never had before which are also blurred according to distance, the parallax mapping, better AO, physically based lighting and shading, then look at the draw distance, then look at the lighting again and the fact that all of this is running in tandem at 1080p !!!!!

he says that these are just 'useless buzzwords' which do not make a difference.

and poor me spent the last 6 months tweaking HDR values in my Doom 3 and trying out different POM methods and high res texture packs to make it look like a brand new game ! I am such a fool ! Games looked the same without them :cry: ! Somehow for me it made such a huge difference that I have posted a lot of screens in the PC section of the screenshot thread. Won't crowd this thread with them.
 
RudeCurve is posting bullshots from KZ3, and yet they still don't show lighting, texture detail or particle effects even close to KZ:SF. We have people that hated KZ2/3 saying it looks good, and yet he's the only one complaining. Just stop feeding the troll.

Be VERY VERY careful what you wish for.

Somebody with a capture card that can very well take a direct feed with a copy of Killzone 3 in a couple of minutes may be right around the corner.

Did GG ever show any video on in-game KZSF characters close up ? I am looking for ISA ones to examine their facial expression.

You've never actually played a killzone game have you? If the PS3 could run any game at the fidelity of those PR bullshots you're using then we wouldn't need a new generation of consoles at all.

I think the lack of light under your bridge has affected your eyesight. Next you'll be rolling out the original KZ2 reference render which was obviously running on a PS2 in your slightly slanted universe.:oops:

And crank up the brightness or gamma so we could actually see shadow detail like we're supposed to...:LOL:

Screenshot is taken as is, There is absolutely zero fiddling on my end. you can crank up the brightness or gamma if you like to in photoshop.

I guess that means you're scared of finding the exact same locations to capture as said "bullshot" locations...

I asked for locations ABC not XYZ...

As I recall, KZ3 does not support HDR. It's faked rather well.
Should be able to tell when you put KZ3 and KZSF side by side.
