Terrible sales all around. Console sales are waaaay down, GC+Xbox are on life-support. Handheld sales are up, but no individual handheld did very well. 360 shortages are obviously still terrible, NPD still hasn't got them at 1mil consoles yet.

You have to figure they shipped at least another 100k to Europe. A few to Japan and Canada.

Canads sales I dont know, but one figure was 30k per month, or another 90k so far. That would put them at 940,000 in North America, not counting two weeks of February. Plus EU and ~110k in Japan?
MS said they shipped 900k US 500k EU 100K Japan by Dec 31=1.5 million in their recent press release.
They should be pushing 2mil shipped worlwide I guess by now.

I'm not suprised the demand for the 360 is so low. I don't buy the supply issue excuse.
I haven't seen such a strong diverse gaming market in years. The Xbox still has alot of potential, the PS2 is still going strong with great software on the way, and we have two really good handhelds as well. The market is just too crowded. There's no reason to rush into a next gen system at this point when the current gen is still going so strong.

Or hell ANY online retailer.
That situations mirrors whats on the ground, you cannot go into a store and buy one unless you happen to catch a shipment just in.
No, they're still selling all they can build in USA at least I know.

In the UK you can walk into almost any shop and pick up a Core system, sadly they don't have the HDD's to upgrade the package's. (not many premiums about though)

Second revision of the 360 just rolled out, alot of places have the 21st or 22nd as back in stock dates for just the consoles. The places that are still getting shipments (online anyway) are in full bundle screwing swing. If you can find a premium "bundle" for under $700 you're lucky. Many are $800+.
