Is this real?

On the morning of September 11th 2001, Mr. Fulton and his team at the CIA were running a pre-planned simulation to explore the emergency response issues that would be created if a plane were to strike a building. Little did they know that the scenario would come true in a dramatic way that day. Information is the most powerful tool available in the homeland security effort. At the core of every initiative currently underway to protect our country and its citizens is the challenge of getting the right information to the right people at the right time. How can so much information from around the world be captured and processed in meaningful and timely ways? Mr. Fulton shares his insights into the intelligence community, and shares a vision of how today's information systems will be developed into even better counter-terrorism tools of tomorrow.

I don't know if it's been posted before, but I'd like to know if there is any truth to this.

I dont think this is true, or it would have at least been mentioned at the 9/11 hearings. But there are at least a few people who know the truth: the people who ran the test, the people who approved it, and those who designed the test (software wise). So there are a few who would know.

Fwiw I've heard this mentioned before. But just as a coincidence.

If I stumble on a link again in the near future I'll pass it on to this thread.

The odds against such a simulation happening on that day aren't that long if you look at it in a certain light. Things were ramping up as to preparedness and the danger of aircraft as weapons was becoming more well known.

I hope I'm reading the question right.

The deal is that, supposedly, from what I've heard, some of those who knew about this sim were.... ;)

PS but since there's no confirmation yet of this, more research is needed.

Old news, and I do believe it's true. If it weren't, where's the lawsuits?
huh??? I read those 2 lines but they dont make sense.

You think its true, therefore there isnt lawsuits? Could you clarify what you are trying to say, please?

I again will state that I dont think this is true. Im sure one of the people running the sim would have been a democrat and would love to spill the beans to kerry (et al). Anyways, if you believe this, then there is no amount of facts that will change your mind.

If you read about it, the sim was about a private jet that crashes into a building. Not necessarily terrorism related, just a crash. Thats coming from a few AP reports about a strange coincidence.

If there's any other information on google, its buried in conspiracy theory hits, so there's no way to confirm or deny the facts about Dick Cheney being in control of the simulation, or the Pilot who was the pilot of 77 having helped in the planning of a repsonse to a plane crash into the pentagon.
