I know its the INQ. but anyone have any actual details on this? 48 unified graphics pipes? Sure made for some interesting reading but if this is true then the next gen of GPU graphics for PC are starting to make me drool more then ever
Does anyone see the possible weaknesses of this approach and if so what would they be? I was always wondering about the arbitor (talked about in the forums before). I would imagine that it could be the make or brake of this type of structure. Is it software or hardware based? Little of both? Can the Arbitor be updated (if software) to fine tune and help with efficiency?
Either way the future looks bright in the graphics industry no matter how we look at it. Seems having either ATI or NV you cant really go wrong in the coming generations
