Arwin you seem to like motion/gyroscope controls a lot.
Of course, the mechanics of getting around are different but it's a means to an end. For 95% of the game, the purpose of getting around is to shoot things Bang bang or zap zap.But it's also an openworld platformer. In that sense it's more like Crackdown, with tonnes of hidden missions, collectables, etc. and even user generated missions. Also, you can play Infamous 2 and Festival of Blood with Move controller, which is great.
They've got an open-world to mess with, destructible objects, and a super-power oriented fantasy to fill. Hopefully they'll keep all those elements in mind when designing every aspect of the game, and let almost every situation or mission objective be fairly improvisational.Heh heh, that's too bad ! Engineer some weak point into the boss. With all the super powers on-hand, I always thought inFamous play too much like a shooter.
Yeah ! Whack the boss with direct contact for massive damage. It doesn't have to be a lump of metal or rock. It can be a punch injected with whatever power I wield.
I always wonder how other developers would handle an IP like this.Of course, the mechanics of getting around are different but it's a means to an end. For 95% of the game, the purpose of getting around is to shoot things Bang bang or zap zap.
I do hope there is an equivalent of the Kinetic Pulse power. Because throw cars and other stuff, never gets old.
How do you make your youtube links? None of them ever work for me (on iPad)
