ICO getting a rerelease!

You quote makes it sound like DF had access to the ICO/SotC remakes, when the article was talking abot the GoW remakes.
Unfortunatly the remakes still arent 100% confirmed.
It would be lovely to see ICO/SotC remakes with engine and textures from Last Guardian.
I doubt there would be many fans who could resist it.. ;)

IF they give us ICO/SOTC with the same assets but massively filtered (720p with 4xAA or MLAA and PLEASE give us at least 8x AF) then i'll be happy. They wouldn't need to rework assets (which can get messy and lenghty) and the games would look more than good enough and an 'easy' way to release.

I remember playing ICO on PS2 and seeing some walls where the textures weren't even bilinear-filtered! Shocking.

Oh no... gotta spend money on new TV first instead of PS3... gotta be strong...

That's very likely actually. They already do PS3 titles with 3D TVs. A Sony 3D bundle seems inevitable as PS3 will probably be the best way to get 3D content.

That's why I mentioned retailer bundles too. :)

I am looking at Plasma TV for my next HDTV, unless something better comes along.

Buy a PS3 now and a 3D tv next year ... I've decided that's what I'll do anyway. Saw a Samsung 3D tv that was amazingly good, 117cm and 3000 euro. I'll start looking in April 2011 and buy in June 2011 (at least I hope I can last that long). By that time it will be clear if there are good and affordable glassesless tvs on the horizon on short enough term to want to wait or know that the next five years we'll still have glasses, and whether the best will be shutter or polarised etc.

Interesting analysis about SotC gameplay:
