Certainly could be. Of course that still lends weight to using them for the CPU as WELL, since it would give them the opportunity to work with IBM for make for a tighter architecture overall.

I had heard that they where considering SiS to do the job, have no idea about manufacturing though.

I had heard SiS for the North Bridge as well which I would assume would mean SiS would use their normal manufacturer for the fab. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
