Actually, I used to be afraid of perl and thought it was horribly obsfucated.
Now, I think its a worth while scripting language, and there's a lot of supporting libraries out there. I put a gui front end on some of our more onerous source control operations using Perl and Tk. Not so bad.
And soon, I'll be back in DSP assembly land. Yay. (Yes master, may I have another?).
