Navigating around the US Patents website and searching for the patent related to the System G which influenced Sony Playstation 3D Graphics engine I found something that Akio Ohba (creator of the System G and one of the most important engineers in SCEI) published back in 2003 that you can find here:
http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-....INNM.)&OS=IN/"Ohba,+Akio"&RS=IN/"Ohba,+Akio"
I am impressed because I don´t know how to connect this patent to PSP and PS3, it seems a type of processor completely different than the ones included in PSP and PS3.
Do you know anything about this strange patent?
From my point of view it seems to be a type of primitive Cell Broadband Engine concept, I see some influences in the design from Stanford Imagine Processor but I believe that I am wrong.
What do you think?
