Uncomfortable? I'm a 70s baby & loved it for the 2600 games. Would be nice to have for some of my retro titles. Too bad Game Room isn't backward compatible.

I want to know the prices of the joystick. Because I would buy and use it as glorified paperweight just for nostalgia sake. LOL.
Yeah, well like the rest of their prices it's a little high too: $59.99
But it is wireless & has rumble, LEDs & a rechargeable battery. :/

The original Atari 2600 came bundled with paddles but they only rotated about 330 degrees, i.e. you couldn't keep turning them in either direction. Then Atari released a bunch of games like Indy 500 that required new 'racing' paddles that could rotate eternally. Bastards.

If PS5 DE is 399 is there any point in having Lockhart at 299? i think is the main reason MS has not revealed lockhart yet. if ps5 is 499 then yes it makes sense to have a 299 lockhart.

Lockhart is the console of budget-conscious people wanting an Xbox. If it's the cheapest nextgen option, it'll sell. And probably sell well.

not if its 299 and ps5 is 399 the value of ps5 is a lot higher. if ps5 is 499 then ya it makes sense. i seriously think MS has not revealed lockhart because they want to know the ps5 price point. infact i think if ps5 is 399 ms will cancel lockhart, there is a reason why lockhart has not been revealed yet.
The reason being that it only makes sense when you are ready to discuss prices.
Obviously neither company is ready to do that, for whatever reason. Example waiting for the other to go first.
Why is that?
It’s just a performance difference right? If your kid wants the latest Xbox it’s ideal - provided it plays full fat XSX games (and it’s not gimped like that slide earlier suggested) it’ll sell well, XSX will sell to the early adopters but once that dies down I would have thought (at 500 vs 300) the lower power/price model will sell more - I don’t think either X or Pro outsell the cheaper model do they?

But if you want an Xbox because you want to play Xbox exclusives or because all your friends have an Xbox, a PS5 is not what you want.
And yet more people buy, or have bought for them, lower-powered/cheaper PS4s and Xbox One S consoles than more powerful consoles. A Series S is better than not having a Series X.
What kind of kid wants an xbox? He will be bullied by all other kids at school! You will ruin his existence at least until he's old enough to change city and restart a new life!
That happens not only by kids at schools. One of the reasons i like pc gaming. Fighting over mid-range closed environment plastic boxes..... ouch.

Either way it is my belief that the existence of lockhart hinges on PS5 price, there is a reason it hasn't been announced yet.
Could be to just to mess with Sony to make them think XSX is going higher price than PS5. Or that XSS is launching at the same time as XSX. Or it could be MS already planned it's low price but think they can go higher if Sony launches at a higher price. There's all kinds of different possibilities for not announcing yet.
