Halo: Reach

What's the highest player count y'all have seen? When I first Dled the game at 4:30 PM, matchmaking servers were down and there was around 140,000 online. This morning it's around 60,000.

I'm guessing "primetime" yesterday evening there may have been 300,000 playing!

Bravo Josh, that indeed was The Great Wall of Text. :D I agree with Tommy, you really should post your thoughts on bungie.net.

Slayer Pro is my new favorite mode, and if I can get the hang of spawning on teammates I might actually be able to help out once in a while.

I really cannot wait for Invasion and Generator Defense.

This is the first time since CoD4 Beta where I can't wait to get home and play some more. They're certainly doing something right.....

I went home on my lunch break and played a quick game. Can't remember the last time I was even temped to do that.

Just catching up on the way too big Reach thread on gaf, I found something very interesting.

In the Arena rankings, assists are as good as kills. I personally think this is awesome as it goes more towards making Halo a team oriented game, even for for the stat whores.

It seems that the teams that stick together can steam roll the other team that doesn't

I think he probably means, moving in a tactical manner to cover flanks and getting mutliple shots on target vs clumping together and waiting to be naded.

Yeah meant the first like sticking in teams of two staying on different levels of the map. Like on Swordbase one team is on the top level giving cover and the other 2 are hunting

On sword base, the team that camps by the top lift room wins. That area is ridiculous to break since there is a glass panel that protects the lounge? room.

So my 10 assists in that one game actually accounted for something? LOL!
