Seems like pretty much an unknown quantity for a film of this scale. I would have preferred jackson take the reigns himself but oh well...

If IMDb is to believed, he done nothing but 3d animations throughout his career. I don't know what to think about him. Halo could end up as most video game franchise do on celluloid: crap.
But then again he might do just fine.

He has also been nominated for an Emmy award for his work on an episode of James Cameron's Dark Angel.

I like the shorts and commercials of his I've checked out. Doesn't give that much info in the interview but his answers dont scream 'I dont know what I'm doing'. Assuming he can handle working on a full link feature I think he can do a decent job,
