Halo 1 & 2 in 720P

Wow, GT4 sure took a big hit compared to GT3, I guess I wasn't the only on dissapointed in the lack of progress.

oh, and LMAO of FFX-2 selling 7million copies.....OK buddy!
I certainly didn't rate the advances as worth buying the game over GT3. Same game, similar graphics, same gameplay (I couldn't tell any difference).

I think you have something there. It must be the analog video out chip scaling the game to 720p, not Xenos rendering it at 720p....

If that was the case, there'd be no reason to make such a fuss about it. Anything (aside from DVD movies) output from the analog video out chip will come out at 720p if that's what the console is set to, right?

Clearly this is not a good solution given limited use of AA in certain titles. UE3.0 wasn't made for tiling, and at this time GoW isn't using AA. If it's such a simple matter and there would not have been pages of discussion about tiling and engines.
I don't follow. Obviously tiling has its value will greatly speed up AA and such, this is an original xbox game we are talking about here, the 360 is bound to have well more than enough bandwidth to run the game with plenty of AA regardless of whether it is using a tile render or not.

Also, the shot that Bungie did the comparson from clearly isn't just upscaled. Take a look at some of the texture detial inside the Pelican and such and you will see detail in the 720p capture that you just can't make out in the 480p grab.

Nope, just PS2

Xbox sales are:
GTA 3/VC pack: 1.38M
San Andreas: 511k

No clue on the PC sales, sorry.

[edit]
That 672k number was the GTA 3/VC pack for the PS2.
