GUNVALKYRIE for Dreamcast

Tagrineth:
Those shots aren't from GunValkyrie for DC... they're from an entirely unrelated game.
You're misunderstanding there. These shots are definitely GUNVALKYRIE.

The people in that thread aren't saying the shots are from a different game; they're saying that the guy who mistakenly called them "Agartha" was wrong, like I tried to point out in the topic message.

Agartha is completely unrelated and was mentioned out of confusion on the part of the guy who dug up these shots. Agartha was a psychological suspense game by developer No Cliche that got dropped when SEGA went third party. It's not pictured here.

The critical factor as to why GunGrave was granted a sequel was to take advantage of the license SEGA secured.

How much did GG sold in Japan. a lot more than GV.

The worldwide markets can't be ignored - that's true. While GunGrave did better there from a relative perspective, it sales were still quite low.

Software sales trends seem to indicate the real advantage of selling to the PS2 userbase is a higher ceiling for big hits... not a higher baseline for niche titles.
