Guess what (DS related)

I didn't see a strap. It was mounted on a pedistal so I had to kneel down to even mess with it. The controls seemed responsive though the touch screen was only used to change it the rolling form and move around in that form. I only messed with it for five minutes cause i got annoyed at the fact i could't figure out how to fire the gun thus move on to the next area. I died twice trying to just roll over the enemies.

Ah, the ball mode is generally not the best test for control input responsiveness because that mode is (afair) laden with inertia.

Well, the touch sreen was used for a map and to switch to ball mode. Then I figured out I could move with the stylus on the touch screen in ball mode the problem though was that the map was small thus movement isn't very precise. I didn't check if I could move with the stylus in normal mode.

There are a few different control methods that you can choose for Metroid: Hunters. It seems you were using the none stylus control (since you say the stylus was only used to move the ball and not the viewpoint in first person mode). In that case I'm not suprised that you found the controls poor, since you'd have been using a d-pad to look around... which is always pretty crap :) So its a bit unfair to judge Metroid: Hunters on those controls.

Next time you try it go into the settings and change to the default stylus controls. Which uses the d-pad to walk forward/backward and strafe left/right, L or R trigger (not sure which) to fire, double tap the screen to jump (and of course the stylus to look around and aim).
