Well well well,
As many people in here know, i work in the same building where Atari have their offices in London. They're on the 9th or 10th floor, can't remember at the moment.

Anyway...

It was lunchtime for me today and like everyday, i was gonna go downstairs to M&S to get something to eat... I'm on the 6th floor, so when i called the lift, it was coming down from wherever Atari is, to do the trip to the ground floor together.
In the lift were 3 guys, chatting about stuff. At one point one goes to the other:
"Seen this one?"
And from his pocket he takes out a DS.......
The other guy goes "Oh....... a DS........" - didn't seem too surprised...

The first one opens it, the thing goes all BIRILIRILINIDINDINNNN and he goes "Only hardware though, no software yet, we should get something next week..."

How cool is that!!!
So there, i saw a DS today.

Have a good gay.

PS: Any questions, how big it is and stuff, ask up!

I'm suprised you could keep your hands away, or were you doing the inconspicous thang ;)

I was doing the discreet superior not-really-care face, while in my head i was going "Wow i'm one of the first in the UK to see this!!!"....

For some reason I imagine that would come off looking a bit like john cleese...

You should've mugged them. Coming from Atari they don't deserve it anyway

I could just imagin what Atari is doing with it...

"On one screen we have Enter the matrix, on the other its Driv3r!"

and as such London-boy also become the first in the UK to throw a DS out the window.

They've got some set up in stores in the US for poeple to try and I have to say I hate the metroid controls.
*Fixed ;)

People's disrespect of the English language is amazing sometimes.

Anyway, i'll sneak into the Atari offices upstairs one of these days. I wanna see the secret projects they're working on... NOT!
