What is the reason to think like that?Ok good news: I am now 95% sure that Barlog will include a 1080p uncapped mode on Pro (maybe later). Not 100% sure yet though.
For me, the GoW series wasn't my favorite, but I played and enjoyed all but ascension. GoW3 was great, but the series definitely needed a change for me to be interested in another GoW game, and I'm liking everything I'm seeing so far.
I hope it bodes well for ample boss fights big and small, a very thorough rendition and exploration of all those different realms, enough weapons, upgrades, runic magic to keep the progression interesting.
For starts game ran with unlocked framerate on E3 2016 unveil [35-45fps].What is the reason to think like that?
They should say it outright, is this 60fps mode, or just lower-resolution "game will NEVER drop below 30fps" mode?
Absolutely. If it’s a ‘performance mode’ like in HZD, then no real point. The game already runs almost flawlessly in 4K, and the performance mode just outputs a very noticeable lower res for pretty much no real performance gain in 99.99999% of the game.
4K all the way for 4K users, no doubt.
30fps is never going to be described as 'so so smooth'.that should be obvious if they dont say 60fps mode.
Huh?CPU is not strong enough for 60fps
Yep. Because we all know millions of potential customers will avoid buying, even if people are saying it plays smoothly, on account of a DF technical article saying it drops frames. Look how shittly MHW has sold since DF dumped on it...The only reason that it will ship with a 30fps cap is because of marketing reasons: Sony doesn't want any negative technical analysis of the game. If the game was uncapped by default at launch, then we know half of Digital foundry analysis would only be about shitty and juddery framerate. Like they did in their incomplete Monster Hunter World analysis.
