So they are going to milk the franchise for all it's worth now.
I thought Ready at Dawn was also working on a console game?
Maybe you're thinking of Sony Bend.

Yeah they said they stopped PSP totally after Chains of Olympus. Supposedly working on a licensable PS3 Engine since then, wonder what made them reconsider? So they are going to milk the franchise for all it's worth now.

Woah just killed Hades on Titan difficulty. Only took me 800 tries. Giving birth is probably an easier, more enjoyable experience.

What's Sony Bend ?
I'm actually quite serious.
Going through the game on Hard difficulty is an emotional rollercoaster.
When things go well you feel on top of the world, and i can honestly say that now i kick ass in GOW3, my fighting is much, much better than when i played through easier diffulties - obviously.
But when things don't go well, and it's rather often, i keep wondering why on earth i am inflicting myself with such pain and frustration.
All in all, love it. I've lost all the hair i could lose already so it's all good.
Another example is just after Hades, when you get to the Olympian City (or something?) and meet the Centaur with a horde of soldiers. Sounds easy enough but MY GOD it took me another 100 tries to get past that fu*king *!"£&$*!"£ £$!"@£$&!¬@£¬!!!!
I'm fine.... I'm ok... breathe......... breathe....
I agree with you that after Titan, the own fighting is much better - and it was indeed much more satisfying!
At the end...I wish you good luck
You are playing on Titan...everything is fairI think it's cheap and detracts from the real charm of the game, which is the fighting of course.I found that the L1-Square grab is a very, very useful move, but i also end up spamming that
It doesn't do damage, but it stuns a few enemies enough for you to land some heavy hits. And it's like evading at the same time - while being invulnerable. Very useful with minotaurs, you can kill them by doing just that and take pretty much no damage. The L1+O is useful but it does very little damage so I barely used it...heh !
Anyways...Good luck for Labyrinth & Cerebrus fight. [Though imo Labyrinth is actually the easiest "main part" of the game, it was the only place where I didn't even die once lol]

Wow, I lowered my difficulty to Easy near the end.
One thing i don't like is that some parts are so frustrating that all i can do is get away and shoot arrows until the enemy is dead or has a big O over their head. And i hate shooting arrows, with a vengeance. I think it's cheap and detracts from the real charm of the game, which is the fighting of course.
I found that the L1-O grab is a very, very useful move, but i also end up spamming that sometimes - depending on the enemy - which is a bit cheap as it's virtually unblockable.
I still can't get my head round countering properly (i never blocked once in my playthroughs on Easy and Normal, but on Titan it's pretty much needed). Sometimes i counter, sometimes i don't...?
I typically tried to use only the Chaos Blades and my favorite combo (try to hit the enemy with the last blow of the combo, it seems to me that it is a lot stronger than the first 2 or 3 blows!, And try to avoid the last blow of the enemy combos, I feel that these are also stronger than their first blows!) !
L1+O is great (you can do this in the air and there are only a few enemies which can hit you then) and dodging is key!
But when I see that it gets hefty, I switch to the Cestus: they are strong as hell and bomb everything away (its like cheating?!)!
I remember the Hades fight as being a tough one. The Cerberus fight wasn't too problematic for me and the Labyrinth was easy(!?) ... but I got problems with the end boss, where I needed a lot of tries (o, and I have problems with this crazy ninja goats!)
PS: to hit with the last blow of the combo, I often start the combo away from the enemy...without hitting him, just to have him run into my last combo move!
I do that too!
And i *hate* those ninja goat bastards!
But not as much as the flying bat things...
