Get a GeforceFX for 125 quid on Feb 12th :)

Is there any downside?
What I´ve understand, you place the order and pay the money, you receive a GeforceFX board when it`s released, but you haven`t to go to London and attend the conference?

Or am I wrong?

Whats the deal? do I have to be a developer to sign up?

Whats the requirements for getting my GFFX @ £125...

/me is really interested as I live in London, and work in Central London :D

An NVIDIA® European Developer Relations Gathering

Looks like you have to sign up for the event and then you recieve a free FX. There must be a catch...

I guess it's aimed at developers but if you turn up scruffy and mumble stuff about minimising overdraw you could fool 'em ;)

When you register they basically call you back to make sure you are gen-u-ine.

Read the agenda - the GFFX handout is only at the end of the two day session, so they do at least want you to have attended.

Atleast we know the FX boards will be ready to roll by the 12th of Feb.
I have to say I really like the name of the event, Nvision.

bloody hell - I'm on gardening leave between jobs that week and I live in London (and I know where the MoS is ;) ) - Dave - can I go as B3D rep? I'll be able to spend time at home examining it to its full.

ps

only half joking!

All you have to do is pay the 125 and go to the event. It doesn't look like you have to have any sort of affiliation.

true - I just need to sell 2 days at an IT confernce to the wife when she expected me home actually 'gardening' :(

I think it's also possible that they'll hand you a coupon that is good for one GeforceFX when they become available...

Note: They do not say working board. :p

Thtas what I thought Democoder. I expect it will be a board there and then otherwise the goodwill to developers is lost.

It doesn't say anywhere that the free card is a 5800 Ultra. I wouldn't be suprised if it's the GeForceFX 5400 Buttmuncher.

MuFu.
