gaming benchmarks with demos ("free")

Hi,

I want to test the performance of my graphic card but I want to do it in "real" games.

What games have free downloadable benchmark demos or that their demo includes the benchmark stuff that I can use?

I would prefer games that already have benchmark tools with their demos, I don't want to use FRAPS & stuff.


Thanks in advance for your help I also will be adding the games I find that have a free benchmark demo available for download.

For starters: FEAR, Doom 3 and HL2 all ship with benchmarking utilities, and it's easy enough to create your own timedemo in Quake 4 and Prey.

call of duty 2 demo works - you can record and play your demos

battlefield 2 demo doesn't work


any more sugestions? please remember, i want only demo or free versions of the games
