Gamecube component cables

So after a little googling, it seems as though they are not sold in the US? I found some on ebay, but I dont see the audio cables along with the video cables, just 3 total. Where it should be 5.

Can someone help me out? Ive had a Gamecube for a few years, but want RE4 now, and want to enjoy it as best as I can.

Ok, so I would leave the analog AV out hooked up, just unplug the video, then hook up the digital AV out, to my TV's component, right?

Any clue where to get one locally, or at least not on ebay for $40.. ?

Component cables were originally only sold through Nintendo. Since they ceased distribution of GCN with the component jack they may not longer even offer the cable.

I have a cable, but it has been modified with a VGA D-sub 15pin so I can use it on a moniter.

Correct.

Heh. That's a tough one. I got my GC around Christmas 2003, and even then I had to order it through some import site, because nintendo.com was out of them. Spent about $50, including shipping. That's one hell of a cable, eh? I doubt it's got any better since then, considering that they discontinued it. I'd say eBay is your best bet at this point. Or wait for the Revolution..

According to Nintendo, HDTV and Online gaming do not exist. ;)

I think you can contact Nintendo and trade in you GC for refurb that comes with component hookups.
