For obvious reasons I won't repost it here, but Valve's entire fiscal budget was available on its network. I noticed that for 2003 Valve decided to cut costs by outsourcing its computer security to "some d00dz from IRC." Could this have been a contributing factor to the breach? I can only speculate.
