Gives me some time to practice We haven't had a good rivalry in a while, maybe the Rivals mode in F4 will create some good competition.

I don't know you seem to understand this car mumbo-jumbo, lol, I'm at a disadvantage but I'm all for "invisible" competition, All I know is from the demo I played rivals and then went to a quick race and was like, "what is this garbage?", lol, I'm apparently hooked on Rivals. One thing I hated in the demo and I'm guessing the game is that my clean lap which was slower than all you guys put me on top which is cool but I wish there was a way to show my "bad" or whatever its called would have beat some of the times as well. As an aside, that damn ghost has caused me to crash on more than one occasion!

It could be worse. My Walmart "release day guarantee" is slated for delivery 10/16 (i.e. Sunday which means Monday). And I have Thur-Sun off so I am major bummed! I am hoping they can correct the issue but the scans from UPS are showing it in New York! And they refused my request to have it shipped local when I noticed they had not-shipped but changed my del. date to 10/18-11/3 Their solution was to ignore their website as they confirmed I should get my games on the release date (I did the pre-order 3 get $50 back deal). That shows me for every shopping at Wally World!

Btw, I hope we can run some laps together Nav. I am looking forward to the Kinect integration

I actually have lots of friends slots open send me a Friends, oh, and your delay is definitely worse than mine. I'm actually not sure wth is going on Forza seems to have had an issue throughout the world. I wonder if there is a pressing issue or the new 360 "disc" is causing an issue as GAF is mentioning lots of vendor cancellations and whatnot. If there is one thing I have learned is that you do NOT mess with the EU and either their racing or their football that's just bad juju...

I'm down for the B3D club which I'm guessing Robert is about to start in 3...2...1...

Career mode is awesome so far. You get a really good variety of cars at each level. Each race, you can choose between your reward options such as EXTRA driver level/credits/affinity. No framerate or tearing so far.

Yeah been playing it tonight, really fun. I just love how accessible the Forza games are. I'm building my fleet of Chevy's to take on all b3d challengers I love how it lets you pick your reward car after each level up, bloody brilliant.

I HATE having to pick. Oh man, you have no idea who many times I stepped away from the game to think about which car I'll pick. Some of the choices are just brutal.

Ugh yeah I just looked ahead to the car choices, looks like it does get brutal later on Have you done anything on rivals mode yet? Figured I'd compare my times to yours as a baseline of sorts to determine my level of crapitude.

Regardless, the game is quite fun. I picked it up on early release last night and sank a good 5 hours in to it. I'm still not entirely sure how that happened...

Got mine as the usual XBox team freebie (along with Kinectimals, now with bears!). Also sank 5 hours into it last night, despite not normally playing racing games, it's just plain fun. I should borrow one of my coworkers wireless wheels and make sure I test it properly

Ok well I threw down a rival time in the rear wheel drive category with a bitchin Camaro, feel free to challenge Rivals is a blast, and you earn lots of xp doing it which is great.

Keep in mind the lack of bumpers is going to be frustrating if you're referring to the speed wheel.

So, I get a phone call this morning at 7:15 and it is my front door, "I have a package for you from Amazon". My excitement is overflowing, YES!, turn on the projector and 360 tear open the package to do the install...can.not.wait! and...it's Just Dance 3. Good one, Amazon...good one. Played for a little while last night. Autovista is actually cooler than I thought it would be. Don't think I'll spend too much time in this mode, but I can see car nuts enjoying it. Played some of the career mode and it's much improved over the sterile career mode from Forza 2 and 3. I like how they let you pick your reward car, but I wish there was some way you could see the car stats. I'm not much of a car guy, so I don't know if the car I'm picking is good or not.

We really should get the B3D car club up soon, would love to do some regular and rival races.

I'm no racer, but I'm using sim steering and it's not too bad. Not sure if it's the sim steering, changes to physics, or a combination of the two, but so far Forza 4 feels a good deal different than Forza 3 IMO.

It is definitely mine Shifty so no poor dancer was hurt in this delivery but in the excitement level Forza was well ahead of Just Dance not that im not excited to get my dance on but damn...

Are you using a wheel? I can't imagine using sim-steering on a gamepad.

I started on easy but since switched to hard. Not sure if I'll go more difficult than that but I'll prolly try at some point. Got to level 10 already, and have my '77 Trans Am to terrorize the tracks with. Need to get me a Grand National next. Yes I love American cars

Nope, using a gamepad. I just figured if I start off with the settings I plan to play with (all assists off except ABS), I wouldn't become dependent on the other assists and it would be easier to adjust.

Is there a way to see the cars specs when leveling? Or am I just missing something?
