Leclerc must surely be at risk of some kind of penalty for knowingly driving round with his belt not done up?

Williams F1 team bought by investment firm Dorilton Capital
August 21, 2020
Formula 1 team Williams have been bought by US-based investment firm Dorilton Capital.
Williams, who were put up for sale in May, will still race under the same name and remain at their English base.

"This is the end of an era for Williams as a family-owned team, but we know it is in good hands," deputy team principal Claire Williams said.

A statement from the F1 team added: "This marks the beginning of an exciting new era in the history of Williams, which with its new owner is well positioned to capitalise upon the sweeping rule changes coming into Formula 1 with the new Concorde Agreement."

Special treat today as the 2020 Indianapolis 500 is scheduled for 2:30 p.m, EST.

Bernie might be back in F1

Apparently Williams wasn't really sold to Dorilton Capital, but rather one of it's subsidiaries, BCE Limited.
There's little information available about the BCE Limited, but it's suspected to be short for Bernard Charles Ecclestone, Bernie's full name.

LOL Ferrari!

Bad luck for GAS, really bad luck.

Seriously, how is Ferrari getting worse each race?

Hamilton, Bottas & Verstappen top 3 again...

Great race for the Renaults, not so great for the Pinkcedes.

Thought it was going to be points for Kvyat but Gasly & Perez cut through the field too quick for his old tyres.

They won't keep any stake in the team either?

No surprised it ends like this though. Claire never looked like she had anywhere near what it takes to run a team.
before sale it was allegedly set up thus:
ownership was split between Sir Frank (51.3 percent), Brad Hollinger (11.7 percent), Head (9.3 percent), a 24.1-percent stake on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and an employee trust fund held the final 3.6 percent.

afaik williams family ended up with 100m euros

So about that party mode ban......

Spa, gap to Verstapen, 0.5, Italy 0.9.

Considering Red Bull pushed for the party mode ban, I am finding this hilarious.

Be careful what you wish for Horner, you might just get it.

The race is a forgone conclusion, seeing as now Merc are going to be even faster as they won't be able to turn the engine down!

Can someone ELIA (Explain Like I'm American) this party mode ban?

And without slipstreaming.
