Folding@home Beyond3D_Team - Summer 2023 Call for NVidia RTX users

Can laptop GPU’s fold? My work HP Elitebook has some kind of low end “workstation” GPU in it. If I remember correctly it’s RTX 2xxx vintage.
Absolutely! The Folding client will try to use anything it can to fold, which includes the CPU itself, the iGPU built into the CPU, and then your 2xxx series card. You'll want to cordon off the client so it only uses your preferred GPU and make sure it avoids the rest, otherwise the poor laptop will become massively thermally limited. Also, don't be surprised if your pretty decent GPU doesn't perform at peak, again simply because of the power and thermal limits of a small chassis.

Was on vacation for a week and my folding slowed down drastically when both Linux machines simply stopped folding. Based on the timing, I'm wondering if an OS update came down and the machines never resumed their folding after a reboot.
