Got me a 360!!! Snagged it from Target this morning. They had 4 Premiums behind the glass and I got the first one. I was always the first one in the electronics department every morning for three weeks in a row. It was only a matter of time.

In terms of seamless network connectivity, the Xbox 360 trumps the original Xbox where you could always tell that the online and network aspects were tacked on. Everything's faster network-wise. What an elegant console. Damn, I'm at work now and I only got to play long enough to fiddle around with the Xbox 360 so I'm going to make my rounds at work and then go straight home.

It couldn't happen on a better day since Wednesdays are my days when I go to our remote sites and since I don't take a lunch and since my employer pays us shit mileage (.34 a mile) I just go straight home after the last site.

Don't believe them, they really don't know what they are talking about. If they are correct and don't get any in till next year, it's only due to coincidence and not because the target sales rep has insider knowledge to Xbox 360 distribution to Target stores.

I saw two HD's at target the other day. I wondered how rare they were. Like a day later they were gone..

the next shipment is the 18th...the bestbuy near me (south coast plaza) is getting 84 of them (dont know the ratio between premiums and cores) and the few next closest ones are getting around 30-54

however this info comes from the xbox360 availibility website, http://xbox.clambert.org/map_inventory/index ,so i dont know how accurate it is

Don't believe that. My local store told me the same thing. They said "February", "March", and "next year." Then lo and behold, they "miraculously" got four yesterday.

It sure feels great that I don't have to fuck with Best Buy on Sunday. There are reports of people already setting up camp outside of some stores. That's bullshit. I wasn't prepared to camp out for more than 8 hours.

all I know is canada had our 2nd shipement last friday, every BB in canada got some, min 10per store(or maybe it was 20) it was even advertised on the games section of their website.

For sure, even though I got mine at midnight launch day, I was incapacitated for 2 weeks until I finally called MS and got them to ship me a box. I sent it out last monday, they received it on Tuesday, then I got it back on Friday!

Well, they gave me a completely brand new Premium, had a different Serial Number and everything, new cables and PSU.

The crappy thing is I lost all my game saves. They could have at least slapped on my old HDD, unless that too was at fault. But the one I have now is completely flawless, played it for hours without it freezing. The last one would lock up within 10 minutes, it ran fine under certain conditions. Then when you think, "hey, it hasn't locked up yet." It does. Damn Murphy's Law. There should be a list of those for the Xbox. Here's my first one:

1) It isn't a console until it claims to be a falling danger children and pets.
