Dreamcast servers

Here in Europe there aren't any servers online anymore for dreamcast.. (maybe phantasy star online episode I&II... but that's all)
Are American or Japanese servers still up? If yes, are you able to connect to them when you're situated in Europe?
And also, is there an official broadband modem (not a LAN adapter or broadband modem just for schools (internet))? Then I would be able to play my games online for free (using router)

I have played only one DC game, online - Unreal Tournament....it was 1 yr back...maybe the servers are still there...

No, I just read an announcement that Sega will the American servers down

Well I tried the PSO v1 servers last week and they were still working.

"Sega of America announced that effective June 2003, most of the online Dreamcast game servers will be switched off. Only two games will receive continue support, they are Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2, no other Dreamcast titles will be playable online after this time."
