Wich one is running on Xbox? Its impossible.[/quote]The one with the hard-edged shadows, relatively blocky character models, vertex lighting, and no normal mapping.

No yet-released Team Ninja games have normal mapping. They've claimed to use bump mapping since DoA2 Hardcore, but there's no evidence of that. Some people took it literally, I took it as a bad joking reference to the mune yure.Alstrong said:Iron Tiger said:The one with the hard-edged shadows, relatively blocky character models, vertex lighting, and no normal mapping.
There is normal mapping. Check the character models. The whole game uses normal maps anyhow.

Besides the Xenon launch, what else is there? Look at the yellow behind the wrestler. What does it SAY????
I knew there was something wrong with this whole thing. Why would DOA II be in there?[/i]

I don't see anything that even resembles number two.

I think your imagination is playing a prank on you .
These diminishing returns in graphics are why I have been more concerned with backwards compatibilty, and having alot of ram and good DVD and HDD transfer rates to cut down on loading times and allow for larger/and or more detailed game levels. (insofar as interaction, not texture detail).Titanio said:JF_Aidan_Pryde said:And thinking about this vs. PS3 graphics, unless Cell kicks major butt and NVIDIA pulls some magic out of the air, there's just not going to be that much difference.
Based on this?
Good lord, I'd be disappointed for one. There's not much point in upgrading your console if you think this represents the point of diminishing returns. It hardly looks next-gen at all IMO, when you look at the DOAs on Xbox.
Very disappointed in this.
