Unfortunately I do not rememer anything from my early childhood. My parents tell me that I was very fond of music and used to listen to the radio all the time, I began speaking very late.

Do you guys remember anything?

Not much if anything before 3 years old, but a lot from 3 on...probably my earliest memory is daydreaming at thankgiving day dinner at 3 years old and suddenly realizing that everyone was noticing I was eating cranberry sauce right from the serving dish :)

I have detailed memories of my crib, I freaked my mom out one Thanksgiving describing it to her.

I used to escape it by unscrewing the screws holding it together. :devilish:

I remember I had done something bad and they locked me in the closet.
When they came to let me out, they found I had discovered my dads porn magazines there, and had drawn little cute smilies for the "beavers".
I must have been about 3 then.

i remember an easter bunny i got (bigger than me) when i was 1 or 2. later i discovered it barely came up to my knee. my parents musta had me on drugs.

How the hell did you get a screwdriver? :)

I can honestly say that I don't remember a thing up until yesterday...

Maybe I am kidding. *scratch head*

I wish I did have some childhood memories. I mean real ones, like Digi there with his crib. Can that be for real?

Dammit, now that I think about it I cannot even remember which of the old memories goes before the other. I should have kept a diary.

It's real, but not quite what it appears. It's my earliest memory I can recall, the next earliest would be when I was three standing in a field of dandelions.

My memory is spotty, it's a real hit-or-miss proposition. Brief memory flashes of early childhood, vague remembrances like little flashes in the dark.

Ask me what I remember about the late 80s/early 90s and that's where you get into the truly embarressing bits for me...I had a lot of blackouts.

i also remember 1-2 yo. waking up with parents in their bed and seeing a seemingly hovering airplane in the sky through the window. also remember the basement workshop

i know it was 1-2 since we moved when i was 2.

however i don't remember my sister trying to murder me. (took me out of my crib and through the down the stairs of the house.

or the time i got my first high fever (among many) where i convulsed and was immersed in the bathtub filled with icewater.

They meant before you were 12, and that was a cage Digi, no wonder she got freaked out you remembered:LOL:

Yes that was a joke, and no I got nothinng.

I've got several memores from the house we lived in when I was 1.5 to 5 yo. But I only know that I was within that range, not any exact age.

At one time we were going to visit someone. As I walked out of the house I saw a snake curled up on the garden walk. I got really afraid, and figured that the best way to pass it was to run and jump straight over it. That went well, and I continued to run all the way around the house to the car.

I didn't have any good explanation to my mum when she asked why I wanted to pass it at all. The snake wasn't on the garden walk between the house and the car. :D

But it really felt like a heroic way to save myself from the evil snake at the moment.

Why do we have certain memories? I "remember" reading an article that whatever we remember about our childhood (or from years ago) is actually false, we presume that what we remember is correct but it isn't. Something like that.

My earliest memory is of my sister being born in our house. I was nearly 4 at the time. Funnily enough, she's having her first baby today
