Wow! thanks for posting that Russ, amazing I must say, not that it matters too much to me at this point, but about 3 years ago it would have been nice before I learned to back things up the hard way 
Anyway still it is nice to see things are more robust than advertised, and it explains to me why HDD can be used in cars without totally destroying them at the begining at least.
