Desktop VR on the Playstation 3

This guy Thomas Miller who works for SCE did this cool demo for desktop VR using the PS Eye. It's just like the one the guy did with the Nintendo Wii. Except this one uses the PS Eye.

The only additional requirments besides those googles like the Wii guy had with the IR lamps on the side is a custom lens cap on the camera to filter out white light.

The cool thing is that because he works for Sony he got it all up and running on a PS3 dev kit. And Sony is hosting the code for it on the PS developers network. So we might actually see some games come out of this.
