my general rule is to keep the debate about the arguments and not about the posters themselves.OK sorry looks like I've touched a sensitive spot tottentranz (deathdance?) I apoligize
My initial comment was meant to be lighthearted and in no way darwin award worthy ....... not to say I have not participated in darwin award behaviours in the past though

Northern Italy is critical at the moment.What is an age breakdown of the people that died of it in Italy? I cant find this data
Please keep in mind when posting information from Italy that this is an english-speaking board.Impressive italian data
While true, anyone speaking any language descending from latin should be able to intrepet contagi and vittime in this context, which would leave guariti pretty self explainatoryPlease keep in mind when posting information from Italy that this is an english-speaking board.
Or 44%, there's arguments to be made why lethality should be counted from "finished" cases aka deaths+healed rather than by infected, since every infected will end up in either healed or dead pile when they're through and it's impossible to say which beforehand.Vittime = victims
Guariti=healed
Contagati=infected
Around 8% of victims.
Terrific.

35,400 likes...WHO has declared COVID-19 a pandemic disease.
Emergency law will be enacted tomorrow to ban public gatherings of more than 100 people.
I had wondered if any of the Western countries would do something like this. 100 people is still quite a few, however. And people know people so I'm unsure how effective this will be at slowing the spread. Still better than nothing.
It does mean that basically all teaters shows, movie theaters, bars, nightclubs and most restaturants will be closed (nightclubs will be forced to close regardless of capacity). What you're left with is family gatherings, where people know each other and probably act more responsible if they are feeling under the weather.
The entire public sector, which is the biggest employer in Denmark, will close, except for critical personel (firefighters, police, hospitals).
If the measures don't prove effective, I'd expect the next step to be enacted in short order (explicit travel ban in and out of the country, no public transport, closing of private companies, etc.)
Cheers
