Browser security comparison - IE8 the most secure browser at the moment

Firefox/Opera/Chromium in that order for me. Chrome has no real security in Linux yet and IE is only an option if I want to boot my vm.
 
Okay, I use VLC myself for watching QT movies though with the advent of MP4 I've been forced to use it less and less.

I avoid QT movies if possible as they are crap quality and uses lots of resources to playback vs WMV or MP4. But now that I know VLC can play QT movies then I will eject Quicktime player from my PC for good... hopefully it wont drag the OS with it! :LOL:
 
I suggest both of you going MPCHC route instead of VLC, the IQ is far superior, supports DXVA for .mkv's too etc, and has built-in codecs for QT too I believe, and RealMedia if you still encounter those files somewhere
