Do you think that power is/will be that important in both stand-by and in use?
I ask this because I understand in stand-by but in use I think it will not matter that much for almost everyone if instead of 35W it used lets say 60W for several reasons (for one almost any "in home entartainment" will use as much power as this).
And once that they could offer much more performance at the same power in stand-by (a multi core design that turn of the extra core(s)/offloading (vertex shading, physics, animation...) to the GPU or others chips (that arent used on stand-by), that lead me to think that the main reason is price.
