That said, I think living in that area for the past 15 years has made my brother very grouchy toward tourists.

Dude, I'm 20... I've only ever once been on that type of holiday and that was 2 years ago. Most of the times I went it was with family (albiet going to clubs quite a lot too), first time i went i was 3!
