You could deform the ground in BC2. You couldn't dig a hole to China, but explosions would dent the terrain a bit.

Apparently confirmed by EA CEO that BF4 was indeed running on a PC at E3.

The more interesting thing I saw from that is confirmed 64 player multiplayer for consoles.

That's what interesting to me...... On PC Battlefield 3 64 player multiplayer is very CPU heavy and requires a highly overclocked Intel CPU to stop the frame rate from dipping and diving all over the place.
So I'm curious as to how these little Jaguar cores are coping with it frame rate wise.. Running in a closed box grant them some extra brownie points in terms of efficiency but you ned a good 4.6Ghz+ Intel CPU on the PC space which is a good deal faster then what the consoles have.
BF 3 already had dedicated servers on consoles.
In fact you could pay to have your own server as far as I know, which is unheard of in a console.Definitely a non-issue then.

On BF4 stream one guy said that it will be 1080p on consoles.
That's music to my ear, although I'm not sure if they would keep the visual fidelity of that Angry Sea level since it was run on a GTX set up, well at least for X1 that is. I hope PS4 can maintain it to a much closer degree.
Can you "summon" vehicles in BF 4?
