Back to civilization ...
Have had a wonderful holiday. Loads of fun, great weather (weeks of 25-30C, and even up to 32C (90F) .. and this at a latitude equal of northern Alaska). Have snapped zillions of pictures, will post some on my site later on.

Anyway, so what have I missed during my time away?

There's some shader competition thingy B3D are running but you really don't want to enter that... ;)

Welcome back.

Wow, thats so incredibly wierd seeing vacation/trip pictures of your city, on someone elses website :p

Anyways, thought I'd point out what some of those 'old looking buildings' are!

That's Old City Hall, literally the 'old' city hall of Toronto before the new one was built. Now it serves as a court house (one of a few), and my friend works in Duty Counsel there :p

You can see another angle of it from this picture: http://esprit.campus.luth.se/~humus/Pictures/Toronto/Image150.jpg

This is the provincial government building, Queen's Park: http://esprit.campus.luth.se/~humus/Pictures/Toronto/Image161.jpg

This isn't actually Queen's Park (http://esprit.campus.luth.se/~humus/Pictures/Toronto/Image162.jpg), its University of Toronto.. specifically Hart House on the right, and the old Chapel on the left (I used to work at HH). I can see why you'd think it was Queen's Park, as its literally across the street.. but its not :) The tiny banners on Hart House actually say, "Celebrating 175 Years of Great Education" (or something similar).

Anyways, sorry to nitpick, just figured I'd point a few things out!
