ATi vs. nVidia

Speaking of ATI... They're being awfully quiet this comdex ain't they?
I'd half expected them to come out with some sort of NV30-parade-raining announcement or such, but right now it seems like all they're going to do is sit there in their booth so they can say they were there...

Either they have nothing to show, or they feel they don't need to show anything since NV30 won't be out in stores til february anyway, or MAYBE they don't show anything at all on purpose in a display of defiance, meant to say they're not scared of silly Nvidia who can't deliver on time.
In any case: BOOOOOOORRRIIINNNGG!
I want R300 @ 400+ MHz & DDR2, or failing that, SOMETHING faster than what they got right now at least! Hehe, of course, they're already fastest kid on the block so yeah. They really don't NEED to, but it would be a nice display, to give Nvidia a kick on the shin.
Oh well. I couldn't afford it anyway.

I want R300 @ 400 Mhz with GDDR-3 not just plain DDR-II
even more, I want a R350 @ 500-550 Mhz with GDDR-3 ^__^

Well I have to say that the delicate curves of the fairy are a bit easier on the eyes than the furry bear.
Haven't you already noticed that many of Nvidia's demos from the past use OpenGL. Pretty much no chance they will work with ATI cards
