ATI RadeOn 9700 Pro + ASUS A7V8X QUESTION

Can anybody tell me if I'll have any problem putting a 9700 on a ASUS A7V8X ?

My reseller told me that there could be incompatibilities...

Since it's for a brand new PC, I don't plan to get something that doesn't work.
I should go and buy the new hardware in two days, so I need a quick answer please.

(I suppose problems might come from AGP8x specs and voltage, any way I could find infos about it ?)

Many complaints, looks like I'll need to check out the board number to be sure it'll work.

Not sure I'll get one in the end.

The latest Soyo 8X board is working fine...it must be a motherboard bios issue as its the same chipset:
