Aquanaut's Holiday (Artdink)

I was going to make a thread, but there is one!

I bought this via Play-Asia, the Chinese/English version. Great great game, one of my favorites this year. Relaxing, no shooting, no losing, no competing. It's about exploration and figuring out the mystery of the missing oceanographer.

The in game graphics look better than the SS. I'm guessing the game is 720P 2xAA. Sometimes there are thousands of fish on screen, you really feel under water.

Anyhow this game has me really hyped to buy Afrika, which also just released a Chinese/English version on Play-Asia, but I have a backlog.

The game also supports trophies and rumble.

Chinese/English version? By that statement I can assume its import friendly? Is English support only for certain portions or throughout the entire game?

By the way, a localized version of Africa is being released in EU territories soon. I can't remember if its this year or early next year, but I remember it being soon. Going under National Geo's new label, if I recall correctly.

I'm playing 100% in English, save a few funny translation choices. I think it just detects what language your XBM is set to. The manual is a thick glossy book in English and Chinese.

National Geographic announced a NA version of Afrika for Nov/Dec, but I have yet to see it listed to order anywhere. The theory is it would be a PSN game like Siren was for NA. I prefer a BD, so I might import it unless it differs in some way (which I doubt).

Excellent news, thank you.

Ok, I thought it was soon (I haven't seen it listed either). I'm curious if it will be a PSN release, though. If I'm not mistaken, there is a lot of supplemental video (provided by Nat. Geo.) included in the game. Depending on the quality of said video, it might not be optimal for a PSN release due to size.

Well Siren was 9GB...
