I know most people who buy a computer wouldn't know how to upgrade A CPU or video card.. but they're not the kind of people who would play games enough to buy the Apex system IMO. They bought their PC to write letters and check email, too, gaming was secondary. I don't think the Apex system will have the functionality or appeal of a PC to any audience at all, enthusiasts or casual users.

Ah well.

why not its a pc that will hook up to your tv . You can surf the web and for kids they can play games. Why have them use your pc when they can use this .

Does it actually have PC functionality? And why use this when for the last 20 years computer monitors have been preferred for a reason? And how about controllers, generally even PC games that do support controllers don't do it very well. Why go through the hassle?

Someone who buys this el cheapo pc is going to know enough to buy a wireless mouse and keyboard, and be willing to spend the money for them? And how many people have desks in front of their tvs that are good enough for these? A lap isn't completely comfortable to type on, and a mouse well quickly run out of space, especially if you have a keyboard and a mouse on your lap.

well i spent 30$ on my wireless set up .

Its a trackball and a keyboard. More than enough room .

It was the same price as a wireless controller for my gamecube.

So i don't see the problem.

esp if they have the wireless kit next to the system .

Why they wouldn't do that I don't know

You got to gamestop or compusa and next to the playstations are the controllers .

Its not that hard for console buyers
