Such chip will probably have relatively low clockspeed so 10 VS is indeed possible.

Possible yes, yet VS30 MIMDs aren't exactly cheap either. But I see the point; VS performance is quite dependent on clockspeed; by adding more units it would compensate in throughput due to the lower frequency.
