Anyone got one (either OEM or in a LanBoy case) and cares to comment on it please? I'm thinking of getting one to power my new K8N Neo2 and Athlon 64 3500+
I think, if it's got a well-known brand name on it, it will probably be good enough. You may want to make sure it has things like (real) SATA power connectors (with 3.3V lead) and possibly, BTX-compatible mobo power connector and PCIe graphics power connector, if those things are important to you.
In the same computer, my Antec TruePower gives my FX5800 Ultra better Onionmarks (16.9K -> 17.0K) than my Antec TrueBlue. Both are rated at the same wattage (330? 350? 380?).
I find it hard to believe that blue LEDs make the diffference, but I confirmed the test a number of times with no good explanation.
