Airflow problems in my case

You laugh. For a while I had a 300MB (OMG!) Fujitsu SCSI drive that needed a fan to keep it operating. I ended up taking the side of the case off and using a box fan (You know, a 2 foot fan).

Anywhoo....

That guy says he works in a computer store... Seems to me he has too much free time on his hands! :p

Besides, he got it all wrong... Every one of those fans seems to be turned to blow air INTO the "case", which means static overpressure on the inside and not much air moving. The fans would speed up too and make (even more) noise...

From his very clear writings, left side blows in, right side sucks out, front and back blow in, top blows in, bottom sucks out.

No problems.
