Aero and multiple monitors

Does anyone know what kind of an impact using more than 1 monitor will have on performance of Aero?

The only thing I've found that even mentions it is this:
Higher resolution, refresh rate, high-DPI capabilities, and multi-monitor support will require more VRAM and greater graphics bus bandwidth.
Practically every graphics card available supports two monitors, but will a low-end card be fast enough to drive 2 monitors at 1600x1200 or higher? If all next-gen ATI cards have dual-link DVI ports, would the RV515 even be fast enough to take advantage of running such high resolutions using the highest level of Aero?

I guess it just comes down to how demanding it is. Anyone have some comments on this?

The question that perhaps follows is this: wahat's the score with Aero Glass (diamond, whatever) on the secondary display - presumably you're not going to have 3D accelaration on both displays - or are you?

why not?
since DirectX 8, every "monitor" has it's own D3D HAL access. you could basically run two different D3D applications at the same time so that either one knows about the other one, though they are running basically on same card. (in case of dual head card.)
