Are there any of the blu-ray players (except PS3) that have 3D hardware, allowing developers to write decently performing 3D games for them using Java?
Is it likely that we will see top-end blu-ray players with 3D hardware rivaling current consoles, thereby basically adding a new player to the market?
I think it would be great if at least a few of the blu-ray player manufacturers could come together and define a baseline OPEN 3D architecture for blu-ray players that could play modern games. A bit like 3DO in the good old days!
